Utility Locating Services Brisbane

Outdoor Renovations?

So who is planning outdoor renovations? Fencing, retaining walls, decking, upgrading drains before the rainy season starts? If you are planning on doing any of these works it’s a good idea to know where your underground services are. Assuming they are deeper than you need to worry about is a common mistake. I have attached a few pictures of power and telecoms where clients would have 100% hit them if they hadn’t checked first, and if it’s on your property you are liable for the cost of repairs regardless of what some people might think. FYI White paint is Telecoms, Orange is Power and Blue is mains water and 0.09 = 90mm, 0.1 = 100mm, 0.4 = 400mm etc And guess what “DIal Before you dig” drawings don’t show this detail, the utility companies don’t have this level of detail hence why they advise you that you have to engage a service locator. If you have any questions or would like to discuss any projects you have coming up then please give me a call. If you don’t need a service locator I will happily tell you this to avoid wasting both yours and my own time.”It’s a lot cheaper for me to find the services before you start than you find them once you start”!
